The Cannonball river crested sometime over the
night on March 20-21
(first day of spring coincidentally)
Kerry and I watched it until dark but did not get to see it at the
highest mark. |

The Cannonball river jam at the old bridge
released the night of March 21-22 and then jammed up at the current
bridge. It appeared that the icebergs were hitting & scraping the
bottom of the bridge. All the bird nests got scraped off the walls
of the pillar supports, and where the beavers were hanging out along the
banks yesterday, there are now huge icebergs laying around. We did
not get to see the highest water as once again, it happened at night. |
